This seminal issue of the CoETaL Multidisciplinary Journal of Teaching and Learning consists of a selection of papers presented at the Third Biennial Conference hosted by the Centre of Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CoETaL) in 2023 under the theme “Celebrating a Legacy of Teaching, Leading and Learning”. The issue, a double-blind peer-reviewed journal publication, contains seven papers authored by researchers at various stages of their academic careers (budding, emerging, and seasoned) that (1) investigate the effects of COVID-19 on the teaching and learning experience; (2) identify challenges to and solutions for the teaching and learning of language and literature; and (3) examine conflict resolution and the importance of social-emotional learning. CoETaL, in its quest to enhance teaching and learning across the Caribbean and beyond, strongly recommends this seminal issue to all those interested in education in Guyana and the wider Caribbean.
